Meet The Members
Hey everyone, this initiative is really close
to our hearts and we aim to spread this more and more. We really want to help
people maintain a balance between their physical and emotional wellbeing with
the help of yoga.
Now let's talk a little about who 'WE' actually are. We'll introduce you to the brains behind this initiative and what they think about yoga. We hope this little introduction will help you relate to us and understand our initiative better.

The practice of yoga is so soothing, that it feels
like every tension and all the problems of the world have paused for a moment
and we get to connect with our real self, to our soul.
Just one hour of yoga, calms me down and reminds me what's important to me. Physically, it has improved my flexibility and helped with toning my body. It’s the best thing to do at the end of any stressful day, because you end up getting a sound sleep. The journey from the mat to your own self is beautiful every day and with its benefits, one should practice it regularly. Kabeer Batra Hi, I am Kabeer, once a lazy chap who would
never work out or even think of doing yoga but I finally made up my mind about
it and started giving my body the attention it needed physically and mentally,
yoga has made my life much smoother, simpler and easier in this lockdown. The practice of yoga helps me to work through
my own daily mental and physical experiences. Because yoga brings awareness to
our inner bodily sensations, it reflects what’s happening in our mind. Regular practice is the key. How we experience
the world when we are off the mat is reflected in our yoga practice. So how we
practice yoga can teach us to live more emotionally balanced lives. I am grateful that my father introduced me to
yoga, earlier I didn't believe in its benefits but since I have started, I have
seen drastic changes in me, I can manage my time, maintain a schedule and be
much calmer than before when I have to deal with difficult situations. Hello, I am Tina, an avid reader and freelance
writer. Yoga for me is a way to purify the mind and find some serenity. That's how I look at it - an escape from this farfetched never-ending loop that we call life. I was introduced to Yoga and healing principles when I was 16 at school. Those annoying weekly classes turned into daily practices and often times yoga combined with meditation provides a much-needed reboot in life and to burn off the jetlag of being set in motion. The constant habit of meditating and yogic asanas that one falls into somehow helps in maintaining inner peace. One feels like they have better control over their senses and an understanding of which way, you're heading. It improves decision making and helps in becoming a better person.
Varsha Sangwan Hey, I’m Varsha Sangwan, the yoga champion of
my team to be precise. Anyways, I have been a disciplined follower of the
ancient Indian yoga and yoga has always been a big part of my lifestyle. It
feels surreal and improves my self-confidence knowing I can do a bit better
than the general population. Although, I knew my body is flexible enough to try different activities but yoga is the most attractive one. I never knew I could do well until I saw people struggling with different asanas, which were just at the tip of my finger. Mediation and mindfulness training along with yoga provide the sense of calm and tranquility to me. Reading and writing too are other constants in my life, because of which I read vastly about yoga and try to write all I can so as to share with the world. I would say yoga has been
tremendously helpful in making me feel comfortable in my skin, being patient
and also, they're good for relieving cramps, back aches etc. Most importantly I do yoga for peace of mind and I don’t think there’s anything better. Overall, yoga has impacted me immensely and love it! |
